Measuring Pleasure: Susanna Rowson and Sentimental Agency, 1754-1817
Marion Rust is Professor of English at the University of Kentucky and Editor of Early American Literature. Her recent articles on gender and the personal voice have appeared in American Literary History and Legacy: A Journal of American Women Writers. She is the author/editor of two books: a 2011 Norton Critical Edition of Susanna Rowson’s Charlotte Temple and Prodigal Daughters: Susanna Rowson’s Early American Women (Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture, University of North Carolina Press, 2008).
